Facebook Business Analytics is being phased out

“Facebook” has announced that its Facebook Analytics tool will no longer be available. The tool will remain active until 30 June 2021. We can download our data for the past 24 months via a CSV file. After this date, it will no longer be possible to access the data it has recorded, nor will the tool itself be available.

In the tracking reports under the ‘Activity’ section, you can view data showing:

• User activity;

• Tracking funnels that you have set up;

• User returns to your page;

• A group of users who have interacted with our page (if we have created such a group);

• Tables of your data (specifically for Facebook Shops);

• Post performance;

• Reports on journeys leading to conversion;

• Statistics (messages initiated with us, deleted conversations, etc.);

• Events (user activity, etc.);

• Overlap;

• Total customer lifetime value.

Data can be retrieved for up to 24 months back!

In the ‘Settings’ section, you can easily change the time zone as well as the currency used for advertising on the relevant account.

The good news is that we’ll have access to most of the data via our Ads Manager and Event Manager. The tools themselves provide the necessary information, mainly through a pixel set up for this purpose. Undoubtedly, the information that will disappear will still be accessible from several places within the platform itself.
